PiA is hosting an evening in Princeton focused on the 2018 Thailand cave rescue through a special screening of The Rescue with Joshua Morris (Thailand ‘99)!

On June 23, 2018, a soccer coach and 12 players went exploring in Tham Luang Nang Non cave in Chiang Rai Province in northern Thailand after team practice. Due to rising floodwaters, they would not emerge from the cave until 18 days later after a harrowing rescue that captured global attention. PiA alum Joshua Morris, founder of Chiang Mai Rock Climbing Adventures, helped facilitate the team’s safe return - a story you may recall from this article in our fall 2018 issue of Pacific Bridges.

On Thursday, April 7, please join us in Princeton for an evening with Josh!

We will start with a reception in PiA’s lobby in the Louis A. Simpson International Building at 4 p.m., followed by the film, which will begin at 5 p.m. in the James Stewart Film Theater (click here for directions). Immediately following the film, Josh will be in conversation with Outdoor Action’s Rick Curtis, who will also lead an audience Q & A.

Admission is free and tickets are required in order to attend. Seating is limited so please secure your tickets today - tickets are only available via this link. Please note that guests will be required to present tickets to access Princeton University buildings for the reception and the film.

We look forward to seeing you on April 7!
