Randy Hobler ‘68, a Peace Corps volunteer in Libya 1968—1969, has released a highly-praised book, 101 Arabian Tales: How We All Persevered in Peace Corps Libya. He interviewed an unprecedented 101 of his fellow volunteers in depth for the book. Former Ambassador to the Comoros and Cameroon Niels Marquardt (who was a volunteer in Zaire and Rwanda) wrote: “Randy Hobler has written the best memoir of a Peace Corps experience that I have ever read. His amazingly detailed book instantly grips the reader by putting Libya in its properly rich and unique historical perspective.” Nick Craw ’59, former Peace Corps director wrote “A magnum opus. I must remark that the level of detail in terms of time, places and people is remarkable.”

Joins us not just to talk about his book about Peace Corps Libya, but to frame it in a larger, “Princeton and Peace” perspective.

Interesting fact: Randolph's great-great-great-great uncle was Nathaniel Fitzrandolph, the name on the

gate through which new Princeton alumni walk out of after graduation.

The book is available on Amazon in paperback and Kindle form. Much more at www.101arabiantales.com<http://www.101arabiantales.com>.
