DESCRIPTION: Hello fellow bookworms! Apologies for the winter hibernation. Like Brood X (U.S. East Coasters beware), we have arisen from the deep recesses of the earth. We have started book club up again.The plan is to read Paper Menagerie and Other Stories in 4 chunks and discuss it in 4 consecutive weeks. It is a pretty light read (especially compared to The Sympathizer!) so hopefully, the pace won't be too quick. It is a collection of some of Ken Liu's best short stories. Our second meeting will be next Tuesday, May 11th at 9PM EST/6PM PST.Schedule:May 4 - "The Bookmaking Habits of Select Species" through "Good Hunting"May 11 - "The Literomancer" through "The Paper Menagerie"May 18 - "An Advanced Reader's..." through "All the Flavors"May 25 - "A Brief History..." through "The Man Who Ended History We will send the Zoom link out on the day of the meeting through the email list.
