SUMMARY: PiA Panels/New Fellows Send-Off
DESCRIPTION: Please join us&nbsp;on the evening of Thursday, June 6th&nbsp;for a PiA Panels discussion and to send off our new PiA fellows in the DC area.&nbsp;Four PiA Alumni, who have all built impressive Asia-centric careers after their PiA fellowships, will be generously sharing with us their expertise in their specific Asia-related areas of focus, and how PiA helped shape&nbsp;their career paths.&nbsp;The Panels portion of the evening will include two roundtable discussions with our panelists.&nbsp;

PiA Panels Speakers:


	John Brandon&nbsp;(Thailand,1978-1980): Senior Director, International Relations Programs, Asia Foundation
	Coco Lammers&nbsp;(India, 2009-2010 and Nepal 2010-2011): Senior Policy Officer, Namati
	Adam Murray&nbsp;(China, 2002-2004): Currently serving at the U.S. Department of State
	Madelyn Ross&nbsp;(China, 1980-1981): Associate Director of China Studies and Executive Director, Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) China


Time &amp; Location:&nbsp;The Panels discussion will begin at&nbsp;7 p.m.,&nbsp;but doors will&nbsp;open at 6 p.m. for pre-Panels mingling with your fellow PiA alumni and the new fellows. The event will be located in the private lounge area on the 3rd floor of Baan Thai (ask the host/hostess for PiA if you need help finding us):&nbsp;1326 14th Street, NW&nbsp;Washington, DC 20005

RSVP:&nbsp;Please RSVP (either by registering on this event page or contacting Roya at her contact information below) by&nbsp;Sunday, June 2nd&nbsp;so we can provide the venue with a headcount.&nbsp;However, please feel free to attend at the last minute if your plans change.&nbsp;Guests (family, friends, fellow Asia-enthusiasts) are welcome.&nbsp;The more the merrier!&nbsp;

Tasty thai food will be provided by PiA HQ, and there will be a cash bar for drinks. Depending on the number of RSVPs, we may request a small monetary contribution from attendees.&nbsp;If this is the case, we&#39;ll&nbsp;inform attendees prior to the event.
